Chief Executive Officer
Luther Garcia is a serial Entrepreneur who has a successful track record of building technology and sustainable energy companies. He has served as a co-Founder, President & CEO of Animated Insights™, Inc. from 2019 until present. Prior to that he was the CEO of Energy Conservation & Supply, Inc. (ECS) since its acquisition by Finnergy Global in the Summer of 2013 until it was sold to Eaglestone in 2021.
From 2010-2013 Mr. Garcia served as the CEO and co-founder of Finnergy USA.
From 2005-2010 Mr. Garcia was a partner in Globant (GLOB:NYSE) where he helped deliver over $50 million in sales.
From 2003-2005 Mr. Garcia was the Global Head of Technical Architecture for Lastminute.com which delivered over $2 billion in annual sales of travel-related products in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
From 1999-2003, Mr. Garcia was a founding partner of Sophos Partners.
From 1996-1998, Mr. Garcia was Vice President of Engineering & Co-Founder of Grey Peak Technologies (GPT) a network integration technology company which was sold to US Web for $100 million dollars in 1998.
From 1993-1996, Mr. Garcia provided technical security and network consulting to AT&T, Sprint, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
From 1988-1993, Mr. Garcia was a Cryptologist/PALADIN for the Naval Security Group at the National Security Agency (NSA) where he participated in a number of combat missions during Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm.
Chief Operating Officer
Anthony is an experienced professional with Blue Chip and start-up experience primarily in technology and Professional Services operating throughout Europe and the U.S.
He has wide ranging experience setting up and managing teams, both business and technical. He is the Co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of ECS Global.
In 2009, he founded Finnergy UK, a Specialist LED lighting Solutions provider. Prior to this role, Anthony held the position of European Sales Director for Globant, a technology service provider, helping them grow to become one of the largest outsourcing providers in Latin America and the only IT services company from Argentina to list on the NYSE.
Between 2003-2006, he held the position of Head of Technology forLastminute.com/4business.
Anthony’s early career started at Ernstand Young, followed by various Management Consulting roles at IBM.
Anthony holds a degree from Edinburgh University in Chemistry and an MBA from Warwick business school.
Chief Strategy Officer
Josh has over 10 years of experience within the IoT, energy and infrastructure space.
While working for Fortune 500 companies such as,Schneider Electric, Siemens and Johnson Controls Josh has held a variety of roles spanning sales, strategy and operations.
While at Siemens Josh was a systems engineer specializing in the design, inspection, installation, start up and servicing of various building systems including fire alarm and building automation.
While at Johnson Controls, Josh was responsible for project management of building automation and energy projects related to the data center, healthcare, and commercial real estate verticals.
During Josh’s time at Schneider Electric Josh was successful at a local and national level overseeing large critical account projects in NYC for clients like Tishman Speyer, ConEdison, Facebook, and more.
In these roles Josh also contributed to various successful programs that better enhanced operations and contributed to creating nationally utilized standards.
Josh has also worked in a global strategy capacity for Schneider Electric focused on change management and digitization of products, services and organization globally through the Schneider Electric change management program Schneider Is On.
Chief Technology Officer
Howard has over 20 years experience building sophisticated, ultra-high performance distributed systems, primarily in financial markets algorithmic trading and analytics.
Howard obtained BSc with Honours in Mathematics at Imperial College in London, and has since enjoyed a successful career working on a wide-array of mission critical technology at some of the biggest companies in the world.
In the early 2000s, he pioneered intelligent real-time analytics systems for JP Morgan Chase in NY that today still serves as integral component for their proprietary trading desk for intelligent auto-trading.
From 2004-06, at lastminute.com in London, he invented website throttling technology to serve the demand of "feeding-frenzy" big event ticket sales, and through caching and re-architecture, helped the company scale to become the busiest commercial website in Europe.
At Deutsche Bank in HK in 2007/8, he built market-making algorithms and infrastructure that beats competitors, and reduces trading costs by 80m EUR per year.
More recently, Howard has worked in architecture and lead development manager roles at JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, Barclays, and for a numerous financial services companies including a startup FX broker exchange, and an AIhedge fund.
At Barclays he led a team to rebuild a key order management system and exchange connectivity system, as part of a #100m+ major nationwide initiative, for the largest retail stock broking website in the UK.
Director of Marketing
Lillante is the Director of Marketing with responsibility for overseeing all marketing programs, brand management, communications, media and public relations. Prior to joining Animated Insights, she created and executed successful brand strategies, marketing campaigns and strategic business development plans for several Architecture, Engineering and Construction firms in addition to non-profit organizations.
Her greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach.
Sinan Ucer is a seasoned designer with vast experience managing the creative process, from conception to completion. He is adept at leading and directing creative teams to achieve brand standards and goals. His many years of experience spans numerous environments including retail, industrial, architecture and design.
In the age of unprecedented technological change, Sinan is skilled at numerous design programs and spends majority of his free time staying abreast of the latest technological advances.
IOT Solutions Project Manager
Dustin has had the opportunity to learn the technical ins and outs of various industry-leading IOT systems. He began his career at Animated Insights™ as a field engineer, moving up to a project manager, and now leads the onboarding of the AI: Twin platform.
Growing up in the Midwest, he grew up exploring wide-open Mother Nature and was surrounded by all types of animals — from horses, cats, dogs, peacocks, koi fish, to rabbits. This has made him passionate about sustainability and guiding humanity toward a less polluting lifestyle in addition to protecting the wide-open spaces and biodiversity that he grew up with.
Dustin works with clients to unlock reductions in carbon emissions and energy usage through the AI: Twin platform by capturing and analyzing important data that prior to AI: Twin, remained siloed and underutilized. Knowing that buildings are the world’s greatest carbon emitters, he can’t think of a more effective and exciting way to help protect the Mother Nature he grew up loving.
Senior Finance Manager
Director of Business Development
Sam is a native Washingtonian. As the Director of Business Development – Washington, D.C., Sam is responsible for increasing brand awareness, expanding customer engagement as well as leading all go-to-market activities in the D.C. market. He works with customers, providing strategies through the AI: Twin digital twin platform to help solve efficiency and sustainability issues. Sam specializes in leveraging utility incentive programs to reduce out-of-pocket costs for clients. To date, he has enrolled approx. two dozen buildings in programs that resulted in over $2M in cash incentive payments for the D.C. Metro area clients.
Sam’s background includes over 14 years of experience working directly with building owners and operators, identifying cost-effective ways to reduce energy consumption, increase tenant comfort, and improve indoor air quality. He started his career in property & facilities management, working in the private sector operations department of the Ronald Reagan Building a block from the White House. In 2014, he transitioned into the field of energy management, building automation system sales, and cloud-based software solutions, specializing in the optimization of buildings through precise control.
In his spare time, Sam loves to play golf and Texas Hold 'em, take long hikes with his wife, two daughters, and their dog through their Northern Virginia communities 375-acre nature preserve, and volunteer wherever he can make a positive impact on the world.
Director of Finance
Kevin is responsible for the company's long-term financial health and growth, assessing financial markets establishing financial strategies, and identifying solutions. He is experienced in all aspects of finance and accounting management, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial modeling and analysis, business planning, and process improvement to increase efficiency. He previously served as Director of Finance for a day improvement start-up, New Stand.
Kevin is a native New Yorker, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Economics with minors in Mathematics and Psychology from New York University. When he isn't talking about work, Kevin likes to play board games, go record shopping, travel, and experience unique foods.
AI: Twin employs digital twin technology to make digital replicas of buildings for Building Information Models and Building Management Systems. The platform creates a living asset registry to help operate buildings and manage key parts of infrastructure by measuring costs, energy consumption, carbon emissions, and more.
