Summary of Role:

Due to rapid growth, Animated Insights™ is expanding in North America and we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the Engagements team driving new customer relationships and strategies located in New York.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving & managing path to close & opening new business streams
  • Accountable for day-to-day customer contact to drive Deal-close by building and nurturing relationships and opening new sales leads
  • Support the Alliance Director to develop customer relationships and key areas for growth within the account
  • Drive the Sales Pipeline end to end, driving and owning pursuits with new customers, and growing existing accounts
  • Own customer relationships; building, nurturing, and growing our customer network
  • Manage the GoNoGo process for your  business area/region
  • Take business plan goals and milestones and create BD/Sales plans that drive activity to meet these objectives
  • Manage the sales pipeline in the region, working closely with VP Sales Infrastructure to identity target customers and drive Pursuit Plans to close
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and objectives around customer development and business growth
  • Own customer relationships and develop relationships that lead to new sales and scope growth
  • Develop ideas to continually grow the Animated Insights™ offer to customers, working closely with service and product teams to looking at ways we can innovate and evolve the sales strategies
  • Have a can-do attitude, thriving in a team environment whilst also being able to act autonomously to drive opportunities with customers

Skills & Experience Required:

  • You will currently be working in the Infrastructure industry in some capacity
  • You will have an existing, established network of contacts in the market
  • Demonstrated ability to secure new contracts and expand existing customer contracts
  • Desirable to have experience of technology/Saas companies
  • Minimum of 5 years business development/sales experience, with an established industry network
  • Proven experience in business development; forming relationships with asset owners and/or construction/design
  • Educated to undergraduate /Bachelor’s degree level
  • Knowledge of the development, asset management process and terminology; desirable to understand operations and maintenance, building types/contracts and existing rail/infrastructure systems
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Impeccable speaking, grammar and writing skills are required
  • Excellent communication skills being able to connect and relate with others; equally strong in talking and listening
